You may think my name is very strange. As for me, the name’s meaningful with nine characterful parts called S, P, O, T, L, I, G, H and T. I will serve in Myanmar Business Compound with nine activities gained from the parts.
“S” will Screen business events in Myanmar as businessmen always meet gains and losses in doing business. So, it helps businessmen to explore good experiences and lessons from the past events. “P” will help us by Propounding valuable ideas in conformity with our business and economy system as a carrier of good things from “S”.
We will use “O” to Obviate not only current problems but also coming difficulties by taking the help of “S” and “P”.
“T” is a great character that Transmits vice versa our and your opinions coming out from our and your experiences and knowledge.
“L” will perform as a Link among economic groups to connect our activities to develop our abilities.
“I” will guide us to Investigate business conditions and so we come to see our weak points in current business environment.
I want “G” to gather business information and thoughts all over the world to utilize them in finding markets.
“H” will Head economic activities with helps of S, P, O, T, L, I and G.

Some bloggers say, "We worry about Myanmar Economy as it can decline in 2008."
According my positive feeling, I think that it will not come to anything. I think our country's economy will develop in 2008 if we’ll get fully Government’s assistances. That is why our country possesses great chances on good weather conditions and a lot of food from its rich cultivable lands, navigable river systems and a long coastline.
The private sector revitalized after the adoption of market economy in 1988. I can’t refuse it’s achieved fairly progress in all economic activities, mainly agro-business, processing and manufacturing industry, mining, transportation, wholesale and retail trade as well as import/ export trade. Our productivity is increasing surely according to Government’s encouragements. Value-added production successfully improves and some surplus is been exported. To develop our business Myanmar, businessmen have opportunities like workforce and utilization of natural resources.
On the other hand, businessmen have faced problems of lack of technology, finance, poor infrastructure and insufficient supply of electricity and fuel energy. But, Government says, “We are carrying out many plans and projects to be sufficient in electricity”. It also says, “We’ve organized a lot of associations such as Paddy Producers Association, Oil Palm Producers Association, Rubber Producers Association, Perennial Crop Producers Association, Farm Crop Producers Association, Myanma Onion, Garlic and Culinary Crops Producers and Exporters Association, Myanma Fruits and Vegetables Producers and Exporters Association and Myanma Agro-based Foodstuff Producers and Exporters Association in order to upgrade private sector’s role from the its agriculture.”
In my other experiences, SMEs are very important to gain grater achievements to the industrialization process. I think over 98% of all business enterprises are SMEs. Rice mills, weaving factories and soap factories are long existed SMEs in Myanmar. They can increase the growth of a country’s economy, supplement imports and help the unemployment problems. I’ve learned over sixty agro-based foodstuff factories in 2007 are coming out in 2007 according to the efforts of Myanma Agro-based Foodstuff Producers and Exporters Association. You can survey that is true or false. I can’t count what the outcome of coming Six Special Economic Zones will be.
But, trade of government sector is obviously increasing than private sector’s. I have to study as I want to know why trade of private sector slowly develops and how its future is. The answer I found is that although private sector's prime mover of the market-oriented economic system, the sector in any developing country slowly develops and it needs Government's assistance. So, the authorized organizations come to encourage private sector’s development by rendering necessary performances. So, private sector development will obviously come out.
A media said the different trade volume of Myanmar between 1991-92 financial year and 2006-2007 financial year stood US$ 6872 million. How do you think about the great increasing amount in fifteen years? In my home country, no need to consider if we can meet starvation in our nation by working with normal effort. Please, point out my weak points on my opinion if you find mine is unacceptable. I’ll thank you for your comments. As for me, I promise you all that I’ll try hard to take more pride in my name.
